EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 498, April 15, 1952

CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAPINIG IN THE PROVINCE OF SAMAR TO GAMAY AND TRANSFERRING THE SEAT OF GOVERNMENT THEREOF FROM THE BARRIO OF LAPINIG TO THE BARRIO OF GAMAY.


In the interest of the public welfare and pursuant to the provisions of section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, Executive Order Numbered four hundred and thirty-six, dated April 26, 1951, is hereby amended by changing the name of the municipality of Lapinig in the Province of Samar created by said executive order to that of Gamay and transferring the seat of government thereof from the barrio of Lapinig to the barrio of Gamay.


Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the sixth.
