EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 50

FIXING THE MINIMUM SALARY THAT SHOULD BE PAID TO EMPLOYEES OF THE NATIONAL GOVERNMENT


In line with the policy enunciated in Executive Order Numbered Forty-nine, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by law, hereby fix as the minimum salary to be paid to employees of the National Government the sum of thirty pesos per month, unless otherwise specifically provided by law, effective September first, nineteen hundred and thirty-six.


Done at the City of Manila, this twenty-fourth day of August, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the first.
