ORDERING THE TAKING OF COMPLETE CLASSIFIED DATA ON REAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP, IMPROVEMENT, AND ASSESSMENT BEFORE CENSUS DAY, DESIGNATING CENSUS OFFICERS TO ASSIST IN THIS WORK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
In order to prepare the way to the final enumeration on Census Day, as provided in Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred seventy, I, MANUEL L. QUEZON, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the power vested in me by sections one and twenty-nine of said Act, hereby order that complete classified data based on the records of real property in the offices of the provincial treasurers, relating to real property ownership, improvement, and assessment, shall be gathered and compiled, as of March thirty-first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven. All provincial and city treasurers and assessors are hereby designated as Census officers to assist in his work.
It is also hereby ordered that such preliminary gathering of other data or information as the Census Commissioner may deem fit, may be done anytime before Census Day.
