AN ACT CREATING A SEPARATE ENGINEERING DISTRICT IN THE LONE CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF BENGUET AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
Section 1. Any provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, there shall be created a second engineering district office of the Department of Public Works and Highways in the Lone Congressional District of the Province of Benguet, which shall comprise the municipalities of Buguias, Kibungan, Mankayan, Bakun, Kapangan, Tublay and Atok.
Section 2. The site of the engineering district shall be located in Natubleng, Municipality of Buguias, Benguet Province.
Section 3. The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways is hereby authorized to transfer the records, property, equipment, supplies and materials pertaining to the jurisdiction of the second engineering district from the first engineering district.
Section 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval,
